Obituaries Mar 2, 2023 Katherine M. ‘Kitty' (Weaver) Grimme, 78, of Altoona, passed into the arms of her Lord and Savior on Tuesday at UPMC Altoona. She was born in Altoona, the daughter of the late Charles Faust and Irene (Weaver) Swain. On Oct. 30, 1963, Kitty married the late James 'Rod' Grimme. They enjoyed more than 40 years together until his passing on Nov. 10, 2007. Their reunion in heaven was surely breathtaking. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband.
