Marjorie L. Snyder, 64, of Portage, died early Friday afternoon at UPMC Altoona. She was born in Altoona, a daughter of Betty (Walters) Grassmyer and the late Edgar Grassmyer. She married Barry L. Snyder on Mar. 12, 2011, in Altoona. Surviving are her husband, Pastor Barry L. Snyder; a son, Barry L. Snyder, Jr. in South Carolina; a grandson, Blake Snyder in Pennsylvania; her mother, Betty Grassmyer of Altoona; brother, Butch Grassmyer (Barb) of Geeseytown; sister, Barb Smith of Bellwood; sister, Janice Halton (Dave) of Altoona; and brother, Larry Grassmyer of Altoona; and numerous extended family members.
